The West Bend Public Schools FOUNDATION was created in 2007 by friends and supporters of education to raise financial resources and expand educational possibilities in the public schools beyond what can be achieved thorough public revenues alone.

Innovation in the classroom can combine new teaching and learning approaches with technology to create outstanding educational experiences. The Foundation recognizes the future possibilities that exist and will help realize educational improvement by assisting with the acquisition of technology, and supporting new programs and strategies pr oven effective in advancing student success. Visual And Performing Arts

Participation in the arts stimulates creativity, develops life skills such as communication, problem solving and critical thinking, and broadens appreciation of the human experience throughout history. The Foundation will work to ensure that students continue to value, experience and grow in the arts through enhancement of curricular opportunities, improvements to performance spaces and the provision of supplies and equipment. Health, Fitness and Athletics

Physical fitness is a building block for success and participation in extra-curricular sports encourages dedication to goal achievement, leadership and teamwork. The Foundation will support enhanced physical education facilities, provide equipment and help ensure programs are widely accessible to all students. [more]

The West Bend Public Schools Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and is registered as a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization.
